New Lenox Fire Protection District Information

The New Lenox Fire District provides quality fire protection, emergency medical services, and specialized rescue to 45,000 residents across 36 square miles.

• We are an authorized American Heart Association Training Center providing courses in Adult CPR, Child CPR, Infant CPR, and other CPR training.
• The Babysitting Academy teaches how to care for children at various stages, how to deal with strangers while babysitting, and how to pick out activities.
• New Lenox Fire District news and events including community information.
• The goal of the New Lenox Fire Prevention Bureau is to work in partnership with the businesses within the fire district to ensure safety.
• Station 1 as well as the Administrative Office is located at 261 E Maple Sreett just East of Cedar Road near the Metra Station.
• The New Lenox Fire Protection District was established in 1941 with a single fire engine. The District has grown to four Stations across 36 sq. miles.
• The New Lenox Fire Protection District Board of Trustees consists of elected officials that direct the business activities and oversee the administration.
• 19819 Schoolhouse Road Station 4 was constructed in 1996 to provide better service to the Northeast area of the District. Currently it houses Engine 64, Ambulance 64.
