Its important to hire the right instructor for CPR certification. Would you want to take a class from someone who has never actually preformed CPR on a real person? Or, would you rather have a instructor who is a firefighter or nurse who does CPR almost every day, on the job? I was front line EMS for 31 years. I preformed CPR and first aid almost every shift for 31 years.
Some people have taken a few classes, a few tests and became a CPR instructor without ever putting their hands on a real person.
Others are administrative medical professionals that work in an office and do not practice hands on patient care.
Choose wisely.
